About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the FitnessCheck website and the lactate threshold testing services we provide. By booking a test or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@fitnesscheck.co.uk.

Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed once payment is completed and you receive a confirmation email.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
• You will receive a pre-test questionnaire link in your confirmation email — please complete it before your appointment.

Cancellations and rescheduling

• Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
• We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests at no extra charge.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund.
• If we need to cancel your appointment, we will offer you a full refund or reschedule at no cost.

Health and safety

Lactate threshold testing involves physical exertion. By booking, you confirm that you are in good general health and aware of no medical conditions that would prevent you from undertaking a maximal exercise test. If you are unsure, please consult your GP before booking. We reserve the right to pause or stop a test at any time if we have safety concerns.

Results and reports

We aim to deliver your personalised fitness report within 48 hours of your test. Reports are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your training based on our results.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to FitnessCheck and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitnessCheck's liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
