• Name and email address when you book a test or join the waitlist
• Health questionnaire responses you provide before your appointment
• Payment information processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details
• Basic analytics data such as pages visited, to help us improve the site
• Cookie preferences you set via our cookie banner

How we use your data

• To confirm your booking and send you appointment reminders
• To deliver your personalised fitness report after testing
• To contact you about your booking if there is a scheduling change
• To improve our website and services using anonymised analytics

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of contract (to fulfil your booking), legitimate interests (improving our services), and, where relevant, your explicit consent (health questionnaire data). Health data is treated as special-category data under UK GDPR and is only used to deliver your test and report safely.

Who we share your data with

• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• We do not sell or rent your data to any third party

How long we keep your data

Booking and health data is retained for up to 2 years after your last appointment, unless you request earlier deletion. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@fitnesscheck.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
